The early morning sun began to shine through the windows, falling across the faces of the three mini medabots. It was Little Bee who awoke first. He rubbed his tiny fists across his face, shook his head, and stretched. It felt as though it were too early to be awake, even if today was The Day. The small figure jumped up. Today was The Day!
Little Bee hurriedly shook the two models until they were active. Saikachis seemed confused, while Big Bee was about to smack his shorter counterpart. The little one motioned excitedly, almost enough to remove his own joints. The newest model suddenly remembered, then jabbed Big Bee in the side bef
Little Bee woke with a start, throwing his hands defensively over his face. When nothing came into contact with them, he turned his head to look around. The figure was lying on the bedside stand. It had only been a dream. Relieved, he lowered his palms to the surface of the stand in order to push himself up. As he rose, however, the small figure failed to find balance and toppled over.
Thinking that he had simply tried to get up too quickly after waking, Little Bee waiting a moment before trying again, but with the same result. Frustrated, he sat on his rear, trying to stomp the tabletop with his foot. This proved to be difficult; his
It was a relaxing time for all when the old human was not present in their small abode. The Metabee toys were free to roam throughout the apartment as they pleased, and the Caretaker was at ease with the freedom granted by that absence. All four of them enjoyed a comfort not typically found there. No longer restricted to the bedroom, the miniature yellow robots preferred to spend time wandering in the other rooms, discovering things they never had the opportunity to before. When the Caretaker decided to cook, the three of them would flock to the kitchen counter in order to watch, full of awe at the process.
Several days passed peacefully
Little Bee admired himself in the reflective green tint of a water bottle. Both of his tiny hands held a chiming ball that now hung from his neck by a red ribbon. Their caretaker had placed it on him for some photographs, then left with her phone. The small figure had taken a liking to it quickly, finding it to be a charming new feature on himself. The bell jingled as the bot toy moved, and the sound filled him with childish delight.
The small figure ran in circles simply to hear the bell ring. Growing tired of it after only a minute, Little Bee turned back to the bottle to look at himself again. He felt his new look was missing someth
Little Bee hid inside the pillowcase, hoping beyond hope that no one would find him there. He lay unmoving along the bottom, towards the sewn end. So far, he had been successful, with no signs of the others. The small figure had lain there for several hours, having crawled in shortly after their caretaker left on business. Big Bee and Saikachis were busy playing a different game on the nintendo system.
Eventually, the battery on the handheld died, however. Disappointed, as well as now overcome with boredom, the two larger models stood and stretched, wondering where the little Metabee could have wandered off to. No longer distracted by
Saikachis stopped them before enterting through the ominous doors. This time, he made sure that the game was saved. Little Bee saved an extra three times, just to make certain. Knowing that their progress would not be lost, the three of them re-entered the Pokemon League. More confident in their abilities, knowing they had defeated the Elite Four once already, the Metabees tackled the challenge easily.
With no casualities, the three bot toys applauded for themselves. Little Bee healed their pokemon, and spent a few minutes feeding them poke puffs in the Amie feature. Big Bee rearranged the team, and Saikachis selected new held items fo
The Robot. One of the most popular dance moves, which seemed so simplistic, appeared to be very difficult for three little bot toys to learn. It was Little Bee who had gotten them into this mess; he had requested the best techno music their caretaker could find, then began dancing on the top of the desk. Big Bee took the opportunity to show off, thinking his moves were vastly more attractive than the small one's. Not wanting to miss out on the party, Saikachis climbed over from the window to join in as well. The new model was clearly the awkward one, unsure of how to match the other two with their outrageous styles.
